Brenda Sharp

Brenda started practicing yoga in 1995 when someone suggested she try it because she was a ballet dancer. She went to a studio and fell in love with Yoga. Once when she was in New York, she took a Jivamukti class with Sharon Gannon and David Life. The practice really called to her. When there was a teacher training available in 2003 she decided to become a Jivamukti Yoga teacher. Brenda spent a month with her gurus David and Sharon. She started teaching immediately when she returned home and hasn’t stopped since.

During Covid, she was able to take classes with Jeffrey Cohen and Andrea Boyd via Zoom. They are both Yoga teachers who did their initial teacher training with her in 2003. It was so good to be practicing again with chanting with satsang and studying of the Yoga teachings. She says she is forever grateful for this practice of yoga and how it has changed her life.
