Jennifer’s passion for health, wellness, and inspiring others began early—she taught her very first group exercise class at age 15 while lifeguarding! Since then, her love for promoting well-being has been a guiding force in her life. With a BS in Corporate Wellness and an MS in Exercise Science, along with a host of professional certifications—including personal training, Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Titleist Performance Institute, and the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program—Jennifer is deeply committed to helping individuals and communities thrive at every stage of life. Jennifer and our other Vida wellness experts lead the Consider It education programs with a focus on evidence-based practices in a warm, approachable environment.
Over the years, Jennifer has worn many hats in the wellness world. Her experience spans clinical research and rehab, corporate wellness, teaching as a university professor, elder care, and preventive health in the non-profit sector. Today, as the founder and CEO of Jennifer Joy Wellness Solutions, she combines her wealth of expertise to help companies create healthier, happier workplaces. Whether she’s designing or remodeling fitness facilities, guiding organizations toward Blue Zones Project certification, or helping them earn recognition as one of the Healthiest Companies by the First Coast Worksite Wellness Coalition, Jennifer is laser- focused on making a meaningful impact on employees and their families. She truly believes that exercise is medicine.
Her energy, enthusiasm, and dedication shine through in everything she does, as she works to uplift individuals, teams, and entire communities toward a healthier future. A competitive athlete for 5 decades, she enjoys long distance trail racing and relay events. Knowing the benefits of mind/body work, she began her own yoga practice in 2002 with a deep influence from many local special instructors like Consider It’s Susan Kniseley-Foy, Lauren Loy, and Patrick McNally along with other 904 instructors Leah Green, Laura Kratchovil, Diane O’Donoghue and Didier Razon.
