Scotie Cousin

Scotie-Cousin-Consider-It-Wellness

Scotie’s art journey officially began as a high school freshman when he was inspired by red clay discovered at a nearby flooded river; he crafted mini abstract sculptures along the bank - stretching 100 feet long. There was not another eye to see the creation, nor a camera to capture those sculptures, but it was that organic experience that helped him realize his imagination was on super-charge and that creative thought was his language.

Since this time, he has used mosaic and art as vessels to connect with those around him. His imagination on overdrive led him to earning a music scholarship to college in Louisiana, onto the stages of Irish pubs in Atlanta, and into studios in Chicago and galleries in Florida. Sculptures blossomed into mosaics, sand art, fine art paintings, yard art, guitar playing, and — maybe most beloved of all — his Critters.
