Larinda McRaven's Kundalini Yoga classes offer a dynamic yet accessible experience, perfect for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. She blends physical movement with spiritual practices, helping to release tension, enhance flexibility, and awaken energy.
Accompanied by the resonant vibrations of a 32-inch gong, this session immerses you in a deeply meditative state. Gentle stretches, breathwork, and the healing power of sound create a profoundly relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Rooted in both physical and spiritual traditions, this practice combines movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and mantra chanting. The goal is to cultivate physical vitality, elevate consciousness, and awaken dormant energy. By harnessing sound, breath, and intentional movement, Kundalini Yoga seeks to activate the coiled energy at the base of the spine, guiding it upward through the seven chakras for deep transformation and heightened awareness.
Larinda has been a devotee of Kundalini Yoga and Sound Healing since she stumbled into her first full moon gong bath in Boston. In 2012 she moved to Jefferson City and started offering Sound Baths and Kundalini Yoga classes and Sound Baths.
Her training spans many Kundalini Yoga Studios and Ashrams across the United States but rests mainly with Baba Siri Chand Guru Ram Das Kundalini Yoga Ashram in Millis Massachusetts and Sat Tirath Ashram in Kansas City Missouri.
She has been fortunate enough to train with Snatam Kaur Khalsa, Gurmukh Khalsa, and Ajeet Kaur as she traveled the country visiting renowned yoga facilities like Golden Bridge in NYC, Kripalu, and White Tantra weekends. In addition, she trained with mentors and daily teachers, Guruatma Kaur Khalsa, Guruatma Singh, Karta Purkh Khalsa, Sat Inder Khalsa in Boston and Kansas City.
She is grateful to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with her local community when time permits.
